First of all, a mid-morning dance down at the Hub, with Windsor and others. They proved to be a bit troublesome, but we managed to keep them in their place.
In the afternoon, a spot at the Blackmore show and then off to the Bulverton to make preparations for the Morris Party - 'Piggies in the sky with diamonds'.
Everybody entered into the spirit of the party, particpating in the most ludicrous of games and generally making fools of themselves. Most satisfactory.
Then, the moment everybody had been waiting for - the Flying Pig competition. There were a large number of entries, adopting various techniques, some of which were more successful than others. In the end, somebody won.
A very brief respite and then the 'Folk Odyssey' show, produced and directed by Ben and James, MC Laurence. We had a couple of spots in this - the first being '9 Mens', commemorating the introduction of colour TV in 1967 (one black and white set, one colour set) and the second being 'Maid of the Millennium', commemorating ...
Then, a couple of pints and some dancing at the Lassair Late Night Extra.
