A fairly gentle start to Saturday, dancing down at the hub.
Then, off to the Marine Bars for the traditional Sunday lunchtime dancing, before adjourning for lunch.
After that, the jig competition, where quite a lot of Great Western and related dancers were performing. Congratulations to Cris for winning the single jig competition.
No time to rest, because next was the now traditional 'dance-off' with Hammersmith.
Our final event of the day was a midnight spot at the Silent Ceilidh. Because of the nature of the event, we danced in the style of the Keystone Cops - with contributions from Laurel and Hardy and Buster Keaton. It went well.
Many people contributed greatly to the spot, but special acknowledments are due to Pete (for the idea);
Meg (for the organising); Matt (for the pianist); Ali and Bob (for the house); John (for the Piano);
other John (for the kit); Richard (for the instruments); and last, but not least, Bev (for the Banana).
