Maid of the Millenium Fieldtown

Jimmy Page roll.

Sequence is: Foot out – Chorus – Hey – Chorus – Leapfrogs – Chorus.

Chorus: Straight into the Jimmy Page roll (do not hesitate), crossover to opposite position and then half rounds (clockwise) back to place.

Foot out: at the start, use the backsteps to move back one position, 2 doublesteps to travel forward two positions, galley out, 2 doublesteps to travel back one position to place, galley out.

Hey: All dancers lead left hand. Corners dance hey anticlockwise, middles dance hey clockwise. Middles dance out to audience with sidestep (single arm, not both), backsteps to place and then jump and turn left shoulder back. Corners need to keep the square shape of the set, middles need to backstep until they are in line between the corners.

Leapfrogs: Corners leap over middle to the left of centre. Corners have one doublestep to cross the set and then feet together leap and galley left into the middle position. Middles have half a doublestep before turning and getting ready to be leapt, and then galley right into next corner position. Corners must not hesitate on the crossing, because it messes everybody else up. Make the set square at the end of each leap sequence.

Final chorus: finish with 4 plain capers, turning left shoulder back on capers 3 and 4 and ending in a circle, down on the right knee, arms outstretched horizontally.

Keep the square shape of the set – eg in the hey and in the leapfrogs. The corners determine the shape, middles have to fit in with them.

In the roll and in the leapfrogs, the corners go immediately after the feint step and must not hesitate.
